Blending generations and mediums into a Signature Piece

  The lacy ladies brooch pictured below is our response to our client's request for a modern floral piece.  Our client has a very warm sunny personality and  is very sentimental. Over time she had inherited Mom's and Grandmother's rings, an earring missing it's mate, a  few other "singletons" and pieces beyond or not worthy of repair .  Overall, a nice variety of shapes and sweet assortment of memories that need to be unified into a single piece that she would love and enjoy wearing. 

The floral designs are sterling silver with 14 karat yellow gold bezels surrounding the two matriarchs' engagement diamonds.  Each petal is accented by a bezel set diamond at it's tip, alternating round and marquis shapes.  A channel set band was divided to create a visual bridge, and the tendrils and leaves are of karat gold.

The Reverend Meredith Williams often visits us, enjoying a relaxed browse and fun conversation.  One day our display of loose stones caught her eye, and she asked "What is this stone?" pointing to a remarkable specimen of mossy quartz, that has lovely fronds inside it's faceted, emerald cut shape.  Thinking it was created by man, when Meredith found out that  "God had made it" and man had shaped it- she knew exactly what it was meant to be!  She had been given some Montana sapphire by her sister, and she knew she wanted both silver and gold together.  Meredith gave us free reign, and brought us some material to help in it he initial modeling of the sterling silver fern "leaves" that become the mounting.  The leaves securely hold the  mossy quartz stone, while the multi-colored sapphires twinkle at the top of the hidden bail.

A Family united in the fight

  When John and Betty Brower  came into our showroom their request was simple and sincere.  Betty is fighting breast cancer, with the love and support of her husband and daughter.  The request was for us to fashion sterling silver breast cancer awareness bracelets, to symbolize their unity in the fight.  The pink bows are fashioned from 14 karat rose gold and appear to float on top on the sterling silver cuff bracelets, thanks to the hidden tacks the laser welder and the experience of our jeweler.  We feel privileged that the Brower family came to us with their request. and honored that they find encouragement  when wearing these beautiful bracelets.

Family Heritage

This handsome gentleman's signet ring was commissioned by a local business woman who wanted to surprise her husband with something special.   She had spent time to find out what her husband's family crest looked like, and brought us an image.  Our jeweler carved a wax model with the family crest carved intaglio, or down into,  the surface of the ring.   With everyone looking for ways to fulfill dreams and watch budgets, we blended some of her scrap 14 karat white gold with some new casting grain to ensure a good end result.  Our jeweler then added some engraved details to add to the ways the rings design plays with the light in the room  A sleek classic sure to please!
